What do directors do, and what kind of person do they need to be?
What does a director even do? Well if you're going to be one you better get used to answering that question. Here Julia Burbach talks about what she does as a director, how she juggles multiple jobs, and the kind of traits and characteristics that all directors (should) have in common.
Julia is an opera director working across Europe and spent 6 years as a resident staff director at the Royal Opera House. She started directing and choreographing whilst studying for a BA in History and History of Art and an MSc in International Public Policy at UCL.
